Snow Day Cancellation
Lil Sluggers & Baseball classes are cancelled on days when the HWDSB closes all schools due to bad weather. Lil Sluggers classes may be made up following the "make-up classes" policy listed below.
Clinics and other programs are never cancelled.
Classes - Lil Sluggers
Classes are 50 minutes long with a water break about half-way through. Classes are restricted to a maximum of 6 children, they are once a week. Fall sessions run 11-13 weeks while Winter, Spring and Summer seasons run 8-9 weeks.
Classes & Clinics - Baseball & Cricket
Sessions run 50 minutes and registration numbers are restricted. Fall sessions run 11-13 weeks while Winter, Spring and Summer seasons run 8-9 weeks.
Children should be comfortable and wear their program uniforms with comfortable footwear. Ball caps are optional.
Baseball bats, lacrosse sticks and cricket bats are available for use during classes. Ball gloves are not required in youngest Lil Sluggers classes. Players are welcome to bring their own equipment and may wear cleats or running shoes.
Lil Sluggers tee shirts and ball caps are included with the annual membership. Baseball and cricket programs include tees. Registrations and memberships are non-refundable and mid-session registrations are accepted if space is available (fees are pro-rated).
Make-up Classes for Lil Sluggers
Missed classes may be made-up within the session. Make-up classes must be pre-arranged with the office so the coach is prepared and to ensure the class has space.
Many children require a few weeks to become comfortable and freely participate in our structured classes. If, after attending three (3) consecutive Lil Sluggers classes, you wish to withdraw we will happily refund your class fees. Memberships are non-refundable.
Children must be at least 2 years old prior to the first day of class.
We assign coaches to our classes just before each new session begins. You may request a specific coach but it can never be guaranteed.
